it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are trying to be good mathematicians! They often struggle to understand and apply the array of concepts that we need to cover. I strive to do my best with the materials and time I have to demonstrate all the math concepts, of which there are many.
I have chosen math manipulatives for fractions, decimals, and geometry because our classroom is lacking these manipulatives.
By having these math manipulatives, it will give my students a greater chance in succeeding to understand the math concepts. By doing the work on the board, their personal white board, or on paper just isn't enough to help them.
