My Project

Students need more targeted instruction that is explicit and systematic in order to become successful readers. This year, I've noticed how beneficial small-group instruction is in helping my students learn to read using research-based methods based on the science of reading. I'm requesting engaging tools to help assist my reading instruction in small reading groups.

Engaging tools to help facilitate reading and writing will benefit my students in ensuring they have mastered the skills necessary to become proficient readers.

Facilitating orthographic mapping through targeted phonics instruction aligning with research-based UFLI instruction will help those students in my class greatly!
