This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a lot of our soccer players with hand injuries this year. It seems weird that in a sport in which you are not supposed to use your hands, we have a lot of hand and finger injuries. Now we need some tools we can allow the athletes to carry around with them during the school day to work on strengthening throughout the day.

New hand exercise balls and grip-strengthening tools will allow us to return our athletes, not just soccer players, to their sport with full strength and more confidence.

These tools will make small differences in the everyday life of our student-athletes.
