Hand-on Learning Help!

Help me give my students hands-on resources for daily learning. I am asking for clear dry erase sleeves along with a supply of white board markers and erasers for whole group instruction, independent work and group work.

My Students

My students are hard working learners who require a variety of different kinds of hands-on learning techniques to meet their educational needs. As a special education teacher, I teach students who have unique needs and being able to meet all their needs is my number one goal. I became a Special Education Teacher because I love to see students grow and shine even when things may be a bit more challenging. Seeing the "ah-ha" moment where everything clicks, drives my teaching and I can experience this more often with creative teaching methods that teach to their multi-sensory learning styles. This project would help two resource room classes comprised of third grade and sixth grade students.

My Project

Thank you for considering funding my project for my special education students. The materials requested will greatly impact our day to day learning. My students use white boards daily, but white board markers and erasers are less accessible for my students this time of year and we are almost out. This will certainly impact the amount of hands-on learning we can do in the classroom as we are lacking the necessary supplies. Many of my students do not thrive when using pencil and paper and the plastic sleeves will give them access to the worksheets but with the ability to use whiteboard markers which are highly motivating to my students.

The resources I am requesting are not only tools that my students find engaging and motivating to their learning, but they are necessary to their growth as unique learners do to their special needs.
