This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One must have their own unique signature attached to their own unique self. In this digital age, some things just need to remain, such as one's ability to write in cursive. as old fashioned as it might seem. Furthermore, learning to write in cursive makes one smarter indeed.
Research has shown that learning to write in cursive not only builds fine motor skills but stimulates both hemispheres of the brain involved in thinking, creativity, language, and working memory.
It is my goal to purchase these cursive practice workbooks for both of my classes of fifth graders, one for each student, so they can learn to write in cursive to tap into the creativity and development of their brain: getting smarter through cursive writing. Thank you in advance for partnering with me.
