This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students absolutely love playing drums! I use them with as many lessons as possible for reinforcing pulse and rhythmic patterns.
My younger students need smaller drums that they can easily hold and also move around with while they play.
These small hand drums are the perfect size for smaller hands.
My students love being able to choose the djembe, for its unique shape and because they can use the strap and put it over their shoulder. It makes them feel cool and special to walk around with this drum. I only have one right now and would like to have more for them to use at one time.
