Help me give my students 4 by 4 Ground Contact Pressure Treated Timber, Crayon Colored Pencils, and Sax Sulphite Drawing Paper to sketch items in our outdoor garden.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Webster's classroom raised $180
This project is fully funded
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a home in our outdoor garden. We just need your help in getting everything! My students need the 4 in. x 4 in. x 10 ft. #2 Ground Contact Pressure-Treated Timber as a foundation for a Hammock Garden. This foundation will allow my students time to get outside and relax with a good book. Also, because the 4 by 4 inch lumber is treated my students will be able to enjoy our Hammock Garden every year they are at our school.
Imagine sitting in a hammock and sketching things that you see in an outdoor garden.
With your help, my students will be able to use the Crayon Colored Pencils and Sax Sulphite Drawing paper to do just that. My students love to draw and sometimes they would rather draw than read. These materials will help my student relax and enjoy being outside while drawing. My students will benefit by having the Crayon Colored Pencils and Sulphite Drawing paper by allowing time for quiet contemplation, meditation, and mindfulness of their surroundings. Drawing with these items will also improve their ability for sustained concentration.
