My Students

My classroom is structured so students know expectations; however, it is also alive and full of energy so that there is an environment that pushes students to think and maximize their true potential. "Live as though you were to die tomorrow. Learn as though you where to live forever" Gandhi

My students are alive and full of energy.

They have character. They have personality. They have talents, often latent, so they need help in learning their true potential and capabilities. My school is student focused. We strive to meet the needs of all students are encourage each student to push to meet high expectations and to be able to set high expectations for themselves. We want students to not only be academic ready but world ready when they graduate. We want them to develop into responsible, driven, and ethical young adults. It is truly a treat to work at this school!

My Project

With these 40 copies of No Fear Hamlet, the students will be able to push themselves to learn Shakespeare's language. They will learn the plot of Hamlet, but more than that, they will learn how Hamlet can connect to today's world. This book in particular will be helpful as it provides a two-sided feature. On one page a scene is written in the Shakespearean language, while on the other page it is written in modern text. This two-sided feature will help students with their understanding of the text many ways.

We simply do not have copies of this text available for students.

Students need to be familiar with Shakespeare if they are college bound. Students need to be able to connect the major themes of this text to their own personal lives.
