My Project

My students bring me pure joy every day when I enter my classroom. I have the privilege of teaching at a low-income school, where I teach a self-contained program for students with severe learning disabilities. My students have individual goals that they work towards to increase their skill set and prepare them for their adult lives. Every day, I am filled with joy as I enter my classroom, ready to learn, explore, and experience new things with my students.

I believe that teaching my students how to make coffee and smoothies using appliances, would be extremely beneficial for them.

These are important life skills that they can use in their future employment. This project would not only help them learn these skills, but also give them a sense of purpose and accomplishment.
