My Students
My students are sweet, funny, and energetic! I teach 6th grade English. We are working very hard to become better readers and writers. A little extra love and encouragement go a long way toward helping these students reach their potential.
My students work hard and do their best to become successful 21st-century learners.
They understand that reading and writing are skills that they will need throughout life, no matter what profession they enter. Reading and writing are truly life skills!
My Project
The sixth graders that I teach have a very boring break area. These students would like to be able to enjoy their time outside, and perhaps add 20 minutes of fitness to their day. The students have requested a basketball goal and balls, a volleyball net, soccer goals and balls, and a few other items. I believe that participating in these activities will help students focus better once they return to the classroom. These activities will have other health and wealthiness benefits as well.
Students will also get a chance to socialize and compete with their classmates.
This will lead to better socialization and more and better relationships among classmates. The students are so excited about this project. They came up with the ideas for the items we requested!
