My Students

I have an energetic and motivated group of scholars. They love to be engaged through hands-on lessons and dramatic introductions (teacher turning into different characters for lessons is a favorite). We are a Title I school.

They love taking control of their own learning and you can see them shine as they do this!

I can see their intense hunger for learning every day!

I am amazed with their higher level thinking and want them to have everything they need to exceed expectations.

My Project

This small group horseshoe table will help me bring together a small group of students for guided reading, individualized daily readings, writing conferences, and math small groups. This time will help them grow as readers and mathematicians to gain a love and understanding of being successful in our world. This time is so valuable and increasingly important in our world full of technology. The table provides the space necessary for teacher student bonding with their individualized reading books. The shape and size of this table will allow me to conference with students on one side while still monitoring students on the other side to differentiate learning.
