My Project
There are three first-grade teachers at my school and we share our guided reading library. Over the years we have built a healthy fiction library for our reading groups and now our focus is on non-fiction. Pioneer Valley is one of our favorite companies. In this project, there are book sets of 6 ranging in levels that we are in need of. These book sets are not only high quality but they will also help us in teaching certain text features in non-fiction books during our reading group time. Students are always wanting to read more 'teaching books', especially during reading group time.
