it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These requested materials will be helpful in the implementation of Science of Reading within my 2nd grade classroom. Currently, a lot of materials are printed and given as packets/booklets; however, the use of these texts will increase motivation and engagement amongst students to engage in the joy of reading these texts. These resources will be used within small group work, buddy reading, and guided reading activities to foster a love for reading and increase the foundational reading skills necessary to build proficient readers. These texts will also be supportive of building the self-efficacy of students so that they can build their confidence in their reading skills and including decoding, fluency, and comprehension.
