My Students
I hope you can turn my guided reading crunched space into a guided reading spectacular space!
I am a second grade teacher in Massachusetts.
Our school has a diverse population of learners and my classroom is reflective of this population. As a staff, we are constantly looking for ways to reach all of our students' academic and physical needs.
My Project
Each day I have a group of excited children for my guided reading group, and because of my small classroom we do not have a "real" space to meet for our literature circles. The special tables shown below would not only provide comfort for the children,but will motivate my young readers to want to read!
These tables will provide me with ample space to sit with, and address the students need for extra assistance, and help with remediation and small group work.
Individualized instruction is one key to our student's achievement and growth. These tables would add a much needed component to the classroom.
