This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I implement an Orton-Gillingham based literacy instruction for at-risk K-2 students. I strive to provide engaging and research-based literacy instruction to help all my students reach and exceed their literacy goals. The engaging read-alouds, phonics based cards, and resources will provide my students with multimodal opportunities for practicing their literacy skills!

The literacy centers resources, read-aloud books and cards will help support a research-based scope and sequence that align to the instruction that is provided for all my students.

The literacy centers resources will provide additional learning opportunities to reinforce the foundational skills learned during our lessons. The foundational skills lessons incorporate essential literacy skills such as letter-sound relationships, decoding, encoding, writing, orthographic mapping, and executive functioning. Your donation will provide the resources to help support literacy instruction for all my students to reach and exceed their literacy goals.
