This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Current data indicate that 20% of students attending schools in the United States have dyslexia. Meeting the needs of all students is critical in creating a literate future generation! Hand 2 Mind has published Tara West's Guided Phonics and Beyond Guides and Small Group Kit with lessons and strategies to meet the needs of ALL students, especially those with learning differences. This course and the required learning kit will increase my skills in multi-sensory engagement for reading skills lessons.
With its comprehensive, spiraled scope and sequence, Guided Phonics + Beyond facilitates an effective, research‑based approach to phonics instruction.
Help me increase my skills and my ability to meet the needs of ALL of my students. They deserve access to learning experiences that meet their needs. Please help me improve the future with this new learning for me.
