I have a wonderful group of first graders. They are creative and love math. They enjoy problem solving and working together, and love when they get to use hands-on manipulatives and technology.
The majority of my students live in poverty.
They are at an academic disadvantage compared to higher income school districts, and need as much support as they can get. They deserve every chance to succeed as children from other schools. Guided math and technology are ways to help achieve that.
My students are hard workers and want to succeed. No matter what the topic, they will work hard to try to be the best at what they are doing, while still cheering each other on. I love this about them!
My Project
Guided math is a fantastic way to make sure ALL students receive instruction at their individual learning level! It is hands-on and differentiated for small group instruction to meet all learners’ needs. The materials included in these guided math kits provide in-depth, meaningful, and FUN lessons to help students soar!
The guided math kits include ready to go manipulatives and differentiated lessons for all math standards, as well as fun activities for students.
Using these in small groups will increase math achievement!
With these kits, students will get more meaningful instruction and gain a deeper understanding of the math standards.
