Guided Art Lesson with a Professional Painter

Help me give my students an opportunity to create a special painting from home during a guided art lesson with a professional painter. We need paint, canvas board, and brushes.

My Students

My students attend a small charter school in the lakes area of northern MN. They are part of a community of learners focused on environmental education and service. We are a multi-age class of eager-to-learn third and fourth graders, ready for new knowledge and experiences.

This is a group of creative learners who benefit greatly from extra attention and focus in their individual areas of need.

We incorporate art, literature, and movement into all that we do keep our minds and our bodies active and strong.

My Project

As my students are stuck at home, I am hoping to give them an opportunity to participate in an activity that I do each year in my classroom. A local professional painter donates his time joining us to create a guided art project each spring. This is a highly anticipated activity that the kids look forward to every year. I am hoping to still be able to provide the experience.

With the donation of materials, the volunteered time to prepair, deliver, and instruct the project - I think this is something that the students will still be able to enjoy this school year.
