This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a guidance counselor with a diverse population of students ranging from honors, special education, and English language learners who come from many different cultural backgrounds and educational needs. We are a Title I school which means that students come from many different social and economic circumstances. I work with students from grades six through eighth and meet with several weekly. My students has been hit very hard by this pandemic.

Basic supplies are the key to success in the classroom!

In order to start off next school year with success, we need some supplies to help us be successful! These basic supplies will be a huge help to my students to have the supplies they need to start off the school year right. The pencils, pens, and erasers will help when a student needs to complete their classwork. The computer paper will be used for projects and to help print important information for my students. The legal pads will be used for students to have as scrap paper and write out notes when they come to me and want to share how they are feeling.
