Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very hard workers. They make sure whatever job they are given, they do it to the best of their ability. They are dedicated to whatever task is given to them and they love learning new things. They are ROCK STARS!!!
My Project
My students participate in a school based internship program. They help to build and maintain the school garden, with assistance they help to build chairs and tables. They also, go out to our neighborhood nursing home and transport residents to and from rooms. They read to the residents and also escort them to art classes. At the end of the day I would like each of my students to receive snacks and a beverages. Normally they are very tired and thirsty after their internships and would love to get a few snacks. We appreciate all your donations. Thank You!!
