My Project

Want to help create memorable learning experiences with live learning and gaming? Gimkit is the most engaging way to help students learn. We sampled the free version of this program and it was instantly a class favorite. From games inspired by Among Us, The Floor is Lava, Tag, and Zombies, this program has everything you need to assess student learning. Gimkit can be used in any classroom to introduce or review concepts; it's like a mashup of Kahoot! and Quizlet, but with some unique features neither have. The live gameplay is fast-paced and engaging, but when it's assigned for independent practice, Gimkit functions more like flash cards. Students can help build a kit in minutes by submitting their own questions using the KitCollab feature. Students may also earn a prize from the Prize Drop Game after winning Gimkit. The prize drop is a definite way to boost motivation and engagement for learning.

This resource fosters an inclusive and supportive community focused on improving education for educators and students.

Gimkit doesn't just have to be used in class, you can also assign it as homework. Students answer questions on their own devices at their own pace. Throughout a Kit, each student will get exposed to the questions multiple times to ensure mastery. Students earn in-game cash by answering questions correctly. Students can reinvest their money by purchasing upgrades and power-ups. With millions of combinations, students can make purchases that suit their strengths. I cannot wait to use these resources in our classroom.
