My Project
This school year I am working with our gifted and advanced learners. Often time these students excel academically but struggle with their self regulation, frustration tolerance for mistakes and social development.
Teaching these students a growth mindset will allow them to gain flexibility in their mistakes and become more open to learning new tools in areas which may be difficult for them.
These skills are important for them to be successful both inside the classroom and beyond.
I have researched effective books in which I will use in my small group lessons. Additionally, the journals will help specific students track their growth over time, teaching the important of consistency and resilience.
