My Students
I currently work in South Ozone Park as a third grade teacher. My students are inquisitive, kind and full of positive energy. This year my focus is on all students being able to learn during this pandemic, whether they are coming to school in person, or learning remotely. All of the students deserve the opportunity to get the same quality education. Although my students have been challenged this year, they are all enthusiastic and eager to learn daily. This encourages me to find new ways to engage and promote a nurturing and fun environment for them. They have proven in just the first two months of school that they are motivated and want to learn. I would love help with providing the materials that they need and deserve to help them.
My Project
Help me to provide growth mindset books for my students. These books will help my students believe that with hard work and effort, they can achieve anything that they desire. Children with growth mindsets are more likely to learn from their mistakes and strive to do better. They are more likely to take risks if they can learn from their errors.
In order for our children to grow, they have to learn that sometimes they will fail.
This is an important lesson. These books will help to show my students that they can grow and learn when they make mistakes.
