My Project

As we continue to navigate through this pandemic, technology continues to be an essential tool. Being in an inclusion classroom, there are a variety of learning styles that need to be addressed daily and students' minds need to be stimulated in a variety of ways.

The students I have love to be challenged and need to exercise their brain, even through games and puzzles.

Some even need fidgets to help them focus. Adding an iPad, fidgets and problem-solving games for our class allows students can showcase their learning in a variety of ways other than the traditional paper/pencil.

Our school's focus is on implementing small group instruction, and we are looking to ensure the needs of ALL children are met. In small groups, students will be able to work independently and/or with a partner on various tasks.

Students will be able to demonstrate their learning through the use of technology, which will also help make it quick and easy to communicate their progress with families. This will continue to encourage family support. By adding another iPad to our class, students will be able to share what they are learning with their families through apps like SeeSaw and Google Classroom. The constant communication with families on their child's progress will help develop conversations at home and give them an insight to their child's learning. This will help strengthen the home-to-school connection.

The fidgets and games will also help challenge and exercise students' minds. When we have indoor recess, students could use the games and puzzles to exercise their brains and have fun! They will learn how to work together, be resilient and have a growth mindset.
