This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are learning about trees and the benefit of growing plants and trees in our community. I want to be able my students have the experience of the life cycle of a vegetable and how long does it take to grow vegetables.
My school has a strong community base of parents and teachers who care about engaging and motivating young learners.
My students live in a city with high poverty, high crime, and high unemployment. Despite these obstacles, they are just like any other three and four-year-old, pre-kindergarten students. My students are so very special. They are curious, young minds. They come to school happy every day. They have smiles on their faces daily and enjoy learning.
