Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will design their own experiments with the goal of making their plants grow at a faster rate than their peers. Students will choose a variable to alter in hopes to speed up their plants growth rate. Each student will be planting six plants, three to be grown as a control and three that will be exposed to a variable of their choice.

Students will grow plants in the school greenhouse, collecting data based on their experimental design.

Students will then analyze their data using Microsoft Excel to calculate their plants average growth rates to see who can grow plants the fastest.
