My Project
The 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in my reading intervention class are kind, polite kids who are curious about the world around them and very connected to popular culture.
These students struggle with reading and want to do better academically but our class needs more current, engaging books. We spend lots of time reading in order to boost their reading levels since all of them are all 2-4 grade levels behind in their reading skills. Most of them really enjoy reading graphic novels, and several of my boys are into sports and enjoy reading sports related books. I'd like to move them past the graphic novel and the familiar books to something new and interesting.
This classroom project was brought to life by an Anonymous Classroom Supporter
