Our classroom was fortunate to get a Lettice Grow Farmstand that supports learning in ELA, Math, and Science. Students use this to apply their literacy and math skills of measuring, estimating, analyzing, researching, and explaining the growth process of different vegetables and flowers. We are going through the process of learning about different types of lettuces but want to expand our learning to new plants.
Help our class learn about a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers with new seeds and grow pods.
Each plant grown in our classroom is researched, studied, and sent home to share with the students and their families. It has been an amazing learning opportunity that we would like to continue through the rest of the school year.
