This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing 4 and 5 year olds who are eager to learn and be engaged. Unfortunately, our program does not have a curriculum for this age group. This Teachers Pay Teachers gift card and microphones will allow me to purchase curriculum that is age appropriate and will develop their love for literacy and language.

Students at this age level are developing and building a foundation.

They need games, activities, and the opportunity to orally present to build and reinforce that foundation. This Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow us to develop their awareness of print, language, alphabet awareness, and phonological awareness. The microphones will be used to develop their language through use of oral presentations.
