Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is located on a large campus with lots of green space around it. Until recently, however, there were little to no outdoor learning environments for students. Last year we began our schoolyard garden program with the installation of 4 raised garden beds.

Our growing school garden is in need of many garden supplies to support student access.

Student gloves, a storage system for supplies, and a cart for moving them materials are desperately needed by the school's garden club, who are the primary caretakers of the garden. Your support will help all students at the school be able to access the garden, and also help us grow the garden to its full potential.
