Growing Sensory Room

Help me give my students new items for their sensory room. This room is designed to help them regulate their bodies and minds. We hope to keep adding items for our room with your donations! We need a play tent, sensory items, ear protection, and weighted items.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We wanted to create a space for our students with disabilities that will help them feel calm and safe. Our sensory room just opened last month and we want to add more items for our students to enjoy that will help regulate their minds and bodies. We have used money from our own pockets to get this room started and we don't want to limit the possibilities for our students. Many of our students have Autism and items like noise canceling headphones, fidgets, a play tent, sensory window clings, and kinetic sand will be helpful for them to have access to when they need them most to find regulation again. We truly appreciate anything you can donate to help make this room amazing for our kiddos.
