Growing Sensory and Emotional Regulations Needs

My students need a Comprehensive Assessment Kit Board Set, a Cuddle Me Sensory Tunnel, a Big Mouth Caterpillar Tent, wobble chairs, paper, cardstock and many other items.

My Students

Our students walk into our school every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. The students in our district come from diverse backgrounds and all bring something unique to our school family. Our students benefit from learning through movement and using equipment/tools to help them regulate their sensory and emotional systems. Our students are our future, and we want to engage them in every possible learning opportunity. This project will benefit both the regular education and special education populations of our school. The items and tools we are requesting will be used in a specialized classroom to address the play-based, emotional, and sensory development of the children we serve.

My Project

The items and tools selected for this project will enhance the learning of our students by creating a sensory rich environment that appeals to them. The Cosom Scooter Board Set, the Cuddle Me Sensory Tunnel, the Big Mouth Caterpillar Tent, a safe a calming space for students to access learning. The alternative seating options like the Kore Patented WOBBLE Chair, the Trideer Inflated Stability Wobble Cushion, Big Joe Cuddle Chair, Senseez Vibrating Sensory Cushion, and the Milliard Anti-Burst Peanut Bal address the students sensory systems and help promote their learning through flexible seating options.

The Abilitations RollEase Foam Rolling Pin Calmer 16 Pack Fidget Toys Bundle Sensory Toys Set, the Elongdi Water Beads Pack Rainbow Mix, The One Only Kinetic Sand, Exercise Putty by Vive, the modified and adapted scissors will meet the needs of students of struggle with fine motor skills.
