This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our STEM programing needs a boost! These hands-on learning tools, toys, games and resources will provide many opportunities for students to explore math, science, engineering and integrated technology.
Young students need hands-on experiences with the scientific world around them.
The magna-tiles will help students explore architectural design, build team-work skills, and learn about gravitational and magnetic forces. The Lakeshore science learning centers provide easy-to-use kits that students can explore independently while teachers get to work closely with students.
The Osmo kits provide a way to integrate our class iPads for a fun and engaging way to practice reading and math. These also provide great differentiation with the different levels of readers.
The nonfiction books provide literary connections and real-world stories of women and men in STEM careers from all different backgrounds and allow students to see a different future and see themselves reflected in the stories.
With your support we will be able to provide engaging new tools for our incredible scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. We can't wait to grow our STEM learning!
