My Project
My students are eager and want to learn. Yet at times are reluctant to read. They struggle with some books that have been selected for them to read. I currently teach classes that involve ELL students and special education students.
I feel that by expanding my class library with some current popular books, that the students might get hooked on reading more. Once they start reading more, they will be more successful in their other classes and hopefully will have more success in college. My goal is also to promote life-long readers.
