My Project

Hello. I am a second-year special education teacher. I co-teach and have study skills and life skills classes. Students also come into my classes for extra support, self-regulation, or problem-solving. My students are outstanding! They try hard every day despite any challenges that life throws their way. I am so fortunate to be one of their teachers. Our classes are 80 minutes long, and students get hungry throughout the day.

With your help, I can continue to offer food and snacks so students aren't hungry during class.

If they are experiencing food insecurity, these items are also given to students during long breaks or weekends.

Their favorite is a cup of noodles, protein shakes, hot Cheetos, or takisares! I appreciate your support of these growing minds and growing appetites! I see such a difference in self-regulation and focus when I can offer them a snack when they ask for one. Thank you for being a part of these learner's community support! It means the world! I hate saying "no" when they ask if I have anything they can eat.
