My Project

The DonorsChoose project for plants and lights will make a significant difference in students' learning by offering an engaging, hands-on experience. The requested items—live plants and adequate lighting—will enable students to observe the process of photosynthesis in action and understand how light and water contribute to plant growth. By actively participating in planting and caring for the garden, students will gain a deeper, more meaningful understanding of biology and environmental science. They will also develop important life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and responsibility as they work together to maintain the garden.

I want to inspire an appreciation for nature and encourage an interest in science among the students.

My students are curious, eager to learn, and open to new experiences. By providing them with this immersive project, you are nurturing their natural curiosity and desire to explore the world around them. The students' willingness to work together and support one another demonstrates their teamwork and sense of community. Additionally, the project can help them develop a deeper connection with nature and the environment, fostering a sense of responsibility and stewardship that will benefit them throughout their lives.
