This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach kids ages five to six in Kindergarten from a variety of life and cultural backgrounds. They have lots of cheerful energy and enjoy hands on activities as well as bright, eye catching visuals. They love being creative and finding new ways to understand the world around them through problem solving, exploring, and communicating with their peers.

Each day they come to school with big smiles and ready-to-learn attitudes that they are ready to take on the world with!

My Project

The use of headphones allows for my students to focus solely on the work that they are completing rather than being distracted. However, headphones will more importantly allow for my students to grow their literacy skills through listening based stations, literacy based applications, and a multitude of other activities.

Headphones will also be a special aid to my students that have special needs where they are either requiring the use of programs that help them to build their confidence in their literacy skills or even to help them regulate emotions.

Headphones will really help my students to be the best that they can be.
