My Students

I teach in a co-teach setting for Pre-K students. We have the great opportunity to teach students from many diverse backgrounds such as English language learners (ELLs), special education students, and first-time learners.

My students all have different needs and different ways that they learn to accomplish their social, emotional, and academic goals.

My students are very amazing Pre-K students who are experiencing school through new eyes. They're inquisitive, not afraid to make mistakes, and make everything an adventure.

My Project

We want to dive deeper into math and learning how play and learn with math tools. We are seeking a few items that will assist in our math small groups such as take ten games. These math games help reinforces shape and color recognition and matching as well as counting. The self correcting puzzles will help guide students to build numeracy skills.

The pet counters will be a great tool to add and utilize to our morning circle time for comparing and contrasting question of the day to get children talking and a warm up for math as well to use as sorting materials.

I as the teacher am seeking new and fun ways to incorporate math into play and new ways with the math books. You are never to old to learn something new.
