My Project

We aim to cultivate a love for learning and healthy living among our Elementary's 5th graders by providing them with a hands-on experience in growing plants and vegetables through the installation of a school greenhouse. This project will empower students to explore the wonders of horticulture, fostering curiosity and environmental awareness.

A greenhouse will offer a dynamic, hands-on learning space where students can witness the wonders of plant life up close.

By engaging in the entire process, from planting seeds to harvesting vegetables, students will grasp essential scientific concepts like photosynthesis, biology, and ecology.

Goals for This Project and Use of the Greenhouse:

Hands-On Learning: Provide students with tangible experiences to reinforce classroom teachings, making learning more engaging and impactful.

Environmental Stewardship: Instill a sense of responsibility and care for the environment by allowing students to actively contribute to the nurturing of plants and the sustainable use of resources.

Interdisciplinary Connection: Bridge the gap between various subjects, creating a holistic learning experience that reflects the interconnectedness of real-world knowledge.
