My Students

Hello! I teach fifth grade future engineers! We discuss college and careers early on with our students. We set future goals and work every day towards meeting them. We encourage our students to learn more about influential people in the STEM field, especially female innovators! Most of our students come from lower income households. The students have limited access to technology at home, we try to incorporate as much as we can while they are in school.

We find inspiration in our students every day, they are constantly coming up with new and exciting ideas.

We want to continue to feed that passion and excitement the best we can!

My Project

I am extremely passionate about incorporating STEAM and technology into my daily lessons. It is the best way to prepare our students for the jobs of their future!

Our students look forward to becoming engineers, scientists, teachers, and inventors one day!

Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to support this amazing interest! We have already started working on learning computer coding. Our class is mastering these techniques quickly. We would love to get EV3 robots to help expand and extend their knowledge base. Our average class size is 30 students. We are looking to purchase at least two EV3 robot kits with their extensions.
