My Students
I teach a wonderful group of sixth through eighth-grade students in a high needs school in the western part of North Carolina. My students come in eager to learn with the materials that we have for them.
The teachers at our school go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every need of each child is met.

My Project
Teaching for Artistic Behavior-Choice based Art challenges the artist to think and be creative in their own way. It allows the artist to select a medium that best allows them to express themselves through artwork. Students will be able to use apps and other features of an iPad Pro as a station in creating original artwork. Students will gain hands-on experiences in technologies uses in the art classroom.
An ipad Pro will allow the students to further explore how technology can be used as a form of artistic expression.
Having this added component to my Teaching for Artistic Behavior-Choice-based Art classroom will provide that learning opportunity.
