I teach in a full day preschool classroom with 24 children. These children live in a low-income area where many of them come to school without proper shoes, jackets, and food. I enjoy working in this area because it is so rewarding. It is remarkable watching my students overcome new obstacles every day. My classroom is like a second home for my students, most of them spend more than eight hours a day with me. They use my classroom as a place for warmth, love, and to escape their troubles. Regardless, of whats happening at home these children come to school cheerful, eager, and energetic to learn and explore new things.
As a teacher, it is very important for me to keep my children inspired, engaged and passionate about learning because these young children are the future.

My Project
Oh my gosh, there are so many things we can do as a team to keep the earth green. My students are trying to grow a garden at our school to help keep the earth clean and green. To build our garden I am requesting for the Greenes Fence Two Tiers Dovetail Raised Garden Bed for my students to plant and a water hose. My students will be working together as a team with another preschool class to plant flowers, fruits, and vegetables for our school.
It is so great when children can go outdoor and experience the world first hand.
Having a garden at school will brighten up the environment and it will allow students to feel a sense of ownership in our school. Building a garden is also a great way to teach children the process of planting and growing. With your generous donations together, we can grow a better tomorrow.
