Help me give my students flexible seating options to help them stayed engaged in learning and various Osmo learning kits to help them practice and improve their independent math and reading skills.

My Project

Because I teach special education, many of my students need stimulation to stay focused. Wobble chairs provide that stimulation without distracting the students themselves and their peers. Currently, I only have 2 wobble chairs and my students have to rotate who gets to use the chairs which dampens their learning experience.

By donating to my project, you will help students grow their confidence in their skills and help them become more independent learners.

Having the various Osmo learning kits will give my students the opportunity to complete in independent practice that both engages and encourages them. Each table will be given a caddie and students will rotate the job of organizing the caddie to promote their organization skills.

Finally, the large rug will be used to create a more welcoming environment for my students. Students will come to the rug to share their work or show off their reading progress. Students will also be able to use the rug as a calming space if they get overwhelmed and need to step away.
