Grow Some Sunshine and Smiles

Help me give my students the magic of growing and learning about how plants are grown. The ability to use the terrariums to really have something grow by their own hands.

My Students

My students are big-hearted and funny dreamers, and they are likely the most creative minds you will ever meet. All of the students qualify for free lunch; we are a Title I school. They are a happy group of third graders who love school and love to learn.

My students' economic situations are very dire; we are located on an Indian Reservation, the students try their hardest even when the odds are all stacked up against them.

They are a group of kids who won't give up and always come with a smile on their faces. They try to do all they can with the very little that they have. It is so rewarding to teach, whether I am helping a gifted student learn or helping a student who is many grades behind or anything in between. I feel like I have the best job ever!

My Project

I want to bring the life cycle of the plants to the life to my students. I want to give the students the ability to see how amazing plants are. Not only how amazing the plants are but how ants are also needed for the growth of plants. I know that with your help I can get the seed planted in their minds about how much there is to learn about simple things all around them. The terrarium adn supplies will help them keep the idea growing even when they are not at school. I want the students to know and see of all the amazing topics there are out there to learn and grow.
