My Project
We are introducing the Garden Study from the Creative Curriculum and we have very limited resources that we have access to in order to effectively complete this study. The books will help us incorporate the many ways of gardening during our story time. With our students being raised in the city there is not much talk about gardening and due to healthy foods being a lot more expensive than the sugary process foods, our parents are unable to introduce vegetables and fruits into their child’s diet. It would be a great delight to teach the students and perhaps the parents as well how they can grow their own foods on their own and make better lifestyle choices by practicing healthy eating habits on a budget.
