This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have cultivated a small school garden and want students to get more chances to grow, take home seedlings, harvest foods and cook together, and put more plants into the existing school garden.

These resources will deepen a hands on garden experience, from seed to fruit to seed again.

For the remaining month and a half of school our science unit is all about the garden. More hands-on experience will keep the content learning pertinent and engaging.

Children in spring are a beautiful thing. Help me foster a new generation of gardeners and humans connected to our food source.
