My Project

Growing deep before you grow tall will deeply root children and help them grow, make better choices, connect to the world, and reduce anxiety. A classroom garden with wobble stools, plant domes, and a hydroponic system in a school can have several measured, positive impacts on both the school and its students, below are the ways I plan on implementing and using these materials.

Growing deep in a hands-on classroom sanctuary.

My students can learn about agriculture, biology, environmental science, sustainability, nurturing, love, and grounding through practical experience. This will enhance their understanding of these subjects, and how we are connected to the world, in a calm classroom sanctuary. The children learn to grow and grow to learn.

Healthy Eating: A school garden can provide fresh, organic produce for school lunches, promoting healthier eating habits among students. Environmental Awareness: It helps students develop a deeper appreciation for the environment, sustainability, and the importance of preserving green spaces. Physical Activity: Gardening promotes physical activity, which is beneficial for students' health and well-being.

Teamwork and Social Skills: Students can work together on garden projects, fostering teamwork and social skills.

Problem Solving: Gardening involves critical thinking and problem-solving, as students must address issues such as pest control and plant care. Community Involvement: School gardens can be a focal point for involving parents, teachers, and the local community in school activities.

Stress Reduction: Wobble stools can serve as a stress-relief activity, benefiting both students and educators, that is why the lamp, cushions, and chairs will really bring to life this oasis.

Empowerment: Students may feel a sense of ownership and responsibility for their garden, which can boost self-esteem, they will use the mirrors for positive affirmations.
