I am one of 5 fourth grade teachers at our small town Title I school. We have kids at our school from all walks of life, and we are getting more students every day. I have not met one student, yet, that is not wanting to learn every piece of information I can give them.
When our students reach fourth and fifth grade, they reach the building that we call the "fort." This year I started calling it "the big house." Here is where they make the true transition from "little kids" to soon to be middle schoolers.
All my students enrich the lives of those around them and deserve the best that I can do for them.
They are all amazing children in their own way, and every time I have been funded they have been SO happy to open the new box of things for our classroom!
One very important piece of furniture in any teachers classroom is a table. In my classroom I have 2 "group" tables and my teacher station. Unfortunately, my husband has had to glue my tables together at the legs. As of right now they are holding together, BUT if someone drags the table the wrong way moving it I am afraid that the legs will break.
I would LOVE to be able to replace one of my old tables in my classroom with a brand new one!
My students would love that they were able to sit around a new table that wasn't wobbly as well.
