Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of the items will help my students continue to work in a group setting with adequate resources. My students work together in groups to create flip charts, presentations and even poetry! Their favorite activity is reading texts that present ethical dilemmas. They work together to outline the values and virtues at stake and then formulate possible options and outcomes. These resources will help us continue to thrive in a student centered environment. My goal is to build on my students’ strengths and end the year on a strong note! All of my students receive free lunch and breakfast and some even work to support their families. They inspire me everyday to be a better teacher, mother and human. They deserve the world!
