Help me give my students the opportunity to increase the positive energy inside the classroom with these two interactive requests. The goal is to further encourage think-pair-share in a fun, vibrant and engaged way.

I love my students because they always aim to succeed. From the lowest level student to the highest level student, each one realizes that they can learn something new and will always strive to challenge themselves. I try to make my classroom a fun, positive and energetic learning environment and I love how my students feed off of that great energy. Each of them are special in their own way. Everyone understands that no one is perfect and that we can all learn from one another. My kids have big hearts, and great ambitions.
I try to foster a positive, energetic full learning environment. My classroom consists of 12 tables, with 4 students per table. Throughout each unit, the tables compete against each other for various rewards by answering critical thinking questions throughout the unit lessons. I will give students a few minutes to think-pair-share. Then I will have the students raise their hands on the count of three for their chance to win points. Sometimes, due to the amount of kids, it's hard to determine who had their hand up. By allowing the students to have the interactive sound buzzers, it will make competition fun and easier to determine who goes first. In addition, the white dry erase boards will also give the tables a chance to write down their answer. During the critical thinking competition, if a table wants to challenge an answer, they must hand over their dry erase board to prove they are right. It will also allow for additional think-pair-share engagement activities.
